DVD Recordable(DVD-R)
technology, similar in concept to Compact Disc Recordable(CD-R)
is
a write-once medium that can contain any type of information
normally stored on mass produced DVD discs – video, audio,
images, data files, multimedia programs, and so on. Depending
on the type of information recorded, DVD-R discs are usable
on virtually any compatible DVD playback device, including DVD-ROM
drives and DVD Video players.
A DVD-Video can be divided up into tracks or sections in a similar
way to a normal music CD. These video tracks can be played in
sequence, or alternatively programmed to just play one or two,
or perhaps even change the order. This is ideal when it comes
to tailoring your own presentations toward particular audiences.
Furthermore, most DVD players also have the ability to loop
(repeat continually) a track if required. Looping is a very
effective way of repeatedly playing video and often used at
exhibitions or for assisting in presentations. |
